My name is Reid Pereira, and I’m running for School Trustee in Ward 5 of the Winnipeg School Division.

COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE

My community experience includes volunteer work for the Vision Impaired Resource Network (VIRN); the Winnipeg Harvest food bank at First Lutheran Church; R.A. Steen Community Centre, where I’ve helped to run the summer daycare; Scouts Canada, where I taught outdoorsmanship to younger Scouts, Cubs, and Ventures; the Navy League of Canada, where I taught citizenship to children; and the Canadian Network on Cuba’s Che Guevara Volunteer Work Brigade.

I am a proud union steward and a member of the Manitoba Government and General Employees’ Union (MGEU).
